"Highly recommend was the self guided trip provided by Active Travel Leader Marian Tirla. Friendly and effecient service providing accommodation and transfers in the fascinating Carpathian Mountains close to Brasov. Maps and guidance are provide enabling some good walking through mainly well marked forest tracks and on to the challenging Piatra Craiului Ridge. Experience and a head for heights is required but it makes for some enjoyable experiences.
Reasonable costs make this a must do trip for somewhere slightly different to enjoy the mountains.
