This journey, known as "The Best Program Forever," will take you through the breathtaking landscapes of Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, and Fagaras. Begin your adventure in Bucegi Natural Park, rich with fascinating legends. Conquer the highest peak, Omu, soaring to 2,505 meters, before descending into Bran village—the enchanting home of Bran Castle, famously linked to Dracula. Continue your trek in Piatra Craiului National Park, where you'll traverse picturesque mountain villages and, weather permitting, ascend to the park's highest point at 2,238 meters. Along the way, marvel at the spectacular gorges that make this area truly unique. Finally, challenge yourself to reach Moldoveanu Peak, the highest point in Romania at 2,544 meters, nestled in the majestic Fagaras mountains. This is not just a hike; it’s an authentic adventure that you’ll remember for a lifetime!

Day 1: Arrival in Bucharest & Transfer to Busteni
Arrive in Bucharest and transfer to Busteni (120 km, 2 hours). Check in at a 3-star hotel for accommodation and enjoy a traditional Romanian dinner.

Day 2: Bucegi Natural Park Trekking Adventure
After breakfast, take the cable car to the top of Bucegi Natural Park. Start your trek by passing the Carpathian Sphinx and the "Babele" rock formations, then walk for 3 hours on the main plateau to Omu Peak. From there, descend into Gaura Valley, the largest glacial valley in Romania, before reaching Bran village. Accommodation at a 3-star guesthouse in Bran. Duration: 8-9 hours, medium to hard, uphill 300 m / downhill 1700 m.

Day 3: Exploring Piatra Craiului National Park
After breakfast, begin your trek through Piatra Craiului National Park. Depending on the weather and group preferences, either cross charming mountain villages and gorges or climb to the highest peak in the park, at 2238 m. Accommodation at a 3-star guesthouse in Bran. Duration: 7-9 hours, medium to hard, uphill 1200 m / downhill 1200 m.

Day 4: Bran Castle & Transfer to Balea Lake
Start the day with a visit to Bran Castle (open from 12:00 on Mondays). Afterward, transfer to Balea Lake in the Fagaras Mountains (150 km, 3 hours), visiting Balea Waterfall along the way. Accommodation at Balea Chalet with private facilities. Free time to enjoy the surroundings. Dinner. Here is the emblematic Balea Lake (4.6 ha, altitude 2034 m) located in the heart of Fagaras Mountains.
Transfagarasan road - built as a strategic military route, it is the highest (2042m) and most dramatic paved road in Romania. It runs North to South across the highest sections of the Carpathian Mountains. The road connects the historic regions of Transylvania and Wallachia.

Day 5: Trek to Podragu Chalet
After breakfast, begin your trek from Balea Lake Chalet to Podragu Chalet (2136 m) on the Fagaras Mountains ridge. The hike takes 5-6 hours, offering beautiful landscapes with an uphill/downhill walk of 1,100 m / 1,000 m. Accommodation at a basic mountain hut with shared facilities. Dinner at the chalet. Duration: 5-6 hours, medium to hard. The current Podragu cottage was built in the years 1948-1949 by the National Bank of Romania for its employees, being opened in 1950. Currently it is used as tourist cottage.

Day 6: Climbing Moldoveanu Peak
Today, conquer the highest peak of the Romanian Carpathians, Moldoveanu Peak (2545 m), along with Vistea Mare Peak (2527 m). After reaching the summits, return to Podragu Chalet. Duration: 6-7 hours, medium effort, uphill/downhill walk: 500 m. Accommodation at the chalet. Dinner.

Day 7: Trek to Victoria town & Transfer to Bucharest
Start the day with breakfast and then descend through Podragu Valley to Victoria town (5-7 hours, 1400 m downhill). Afterward, transfer to Bucharest (350 km). Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour by night and explore the "Little Paris" of Romania. Accommodation and dinner in Bucharest.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure.

Details about trekking tour:
- optimal time: July - October
- mountain tour requires a good physical shape, with resistance to medium to hard effort but for long duration
- note that you should personally carry your baggage from day 5 to day 7 (of course you can leave some luggage in the car on day 4)
- accommodation is done in mountain chalets and boarding houses
- licensed mountain guide during the entire trekking tour
- the route could be changed because of the weather conditions
- dead line for booking with 20 days before the trip starts
- Compulsory equipment: waterproof hiking boots and clothes; warm clothes.
